Our Story
Paisa De Selecto was founded in USA and is operating in Colombia with one simple goal in mind: to produce tasty, high-quality coffee. To do so, we went back to traditional Colombian growing traditions and devoted our energy to mastering every stage of the process from field to table.
Our premium coffee is grown in the Aje Cafetero (Coffee Axis) region of Colombia, specifically in Quindio. The area is renowned for its perfect coffee growing conditions, combining high altitude, mild temperature, humidity and soil quality. On top of this, our coffee expertise let us produce coffee with a specialty grade of around 86.
Of course, we wouldn’t be able to achieve this without the help of our amazing local farmers. Part of our process of mastering coffee is returning to traditional growing methods of manual labor and craftsmanship. It guarantees each coffee bean gets the attention it needs to develop its flavor to the maximum extent.
Local culture and experience are at the heart of our coffee secret. In fact, paisa refers to the Colombian people from the Aje Cafetero region. Without our local experts, our coffee wouldn't be high-end, making the region an integral part to our business.
But our attention to detail doesn’t stop after the beans have been harvested. We devote equal levels of care to the drying, roasting, and packaging processes to ensure only the best beans with the richest flavor make their way to our customers.
